Our friendly team at Meallmore are looking for a Housekeeping/ Laundry Assistant to be part of the team in Bayview Care Home in Peterhead.
Located in Cruden Bay, a scenic coastal village 23 miles north of Aberdeen, Bayview enjoys an array of beautiful coastal views. Converted from a traditional family house, Bayview has been modernised to provide exceptional standards of care in a warm, homely environment. We cater for older people including the frail elderly and those living with dementia and its related conditions.
Your role as a Meallmore Housekeeping Assistant will include:
- Cleaning the bedrooms and bathrooms for the elderly residents of our 30-bed care home also communal areas
- Vacuum rooms and corridors
- Dispose of waste accordingly
- Change and replenish towels and guest amenities in line with company guidelines
- Restock and maintain trolley on daily basis completion of cleaning schedules

Qualifications and skills:
- Positive attitude
- A driven individual that can use their own initiative
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work on your own or in teams
- Flexible and reliable
- Experience working within Care Homes, Hospitality, Schools or Commercial (Desirable but not essential)
